One of the conclusions reached through the insatiable pursuit of performance is the “clear metal” unpainted finish. The maximum weight reduction has been achieved by eliminating the paint treatment, which weighs up to about 5g in general models. In the A9-SKY-, the back of the crown was specially processed to further reduce weight and succeeded in lowering the center of gravity by the largest in the series.
New ultra-fast head
The ultra-high-speed head with high resilience specifications has evolved, and the new material T10 titanium and the eccentric cup face have succeeded in expanding the high resilience area by up to 9%. The slit structure “Speed React” on the sole responds to distortion at the time of impact and optimizes the deflection of the sole to stabilize the flight distance.
Low center of gravity due to shallow back structure
The shallow-back construction and rear double-weight system allow for automatic catch and optimal impact loft. The sweet area has been expanded by deepening the center of gravity. It has become stronger against off-center hits, and the projection area has been expanded to give it a reassuring shape.
