Q: Since aluminum ferrules are less flexible than celluloid ones, won’t it add stress or weight to the shaft?
A: Since March, we’ve tested various ferrules with graphite and steel shafts and found no issues. The graphite shafts, in particular, showed no insertion problems or shock-related damage.
Also, because aluminum ferrules are precisely designed to fit the shaft, there is no size discrepancy or misalignment during installation.
Q: If the shaft has a taper or step, how should I install the ferrule?
A: For standard steel shafts, lightly sand the area where the ferrule will be inserted, then use epoxy to attach it to the club head.

Most Sasquatch taper ferrules are designed to fit easily into TAPER-type shafts.
Q: Can the ferrules be removed and reused? Will they deform or discolor?
A: Aluminum is highly durable and treated with heat-resistant coating, so it will not deform or discolor even under heat or pressure.
When removing from the head or shaft:
For steel shafts: use the same method as existing ferrules — remove the head first, then slide off the ferrule.
For graphite shafts: apply heat to the head and extract both the head and ferrule at the same time.
Q: How should I perform post-polishing?
A: No special post-processing is required. The ferrules are designed to withstand nearly all outdoor conditions, including irons and woods.
Dust may settle, but can easily be wiped off with acetone.
If epoxy residue remains, gently clean it with acetone — the finish will stay clean and intact.
